It sure wasn’t meant to be quite like this – 3 seasons in one shot!

But in the early months of this year a wintery blast of wind filched some  of last autumn’s leaves from out of the wood and whipped them across the garden to the bank where the early spring bulbs come through.

One of life’s little serendipities!

But looking at this shot we are not sure we would have organised it any other way.
