When I saw a recipe for ‘Wild Garlic and Cheddar Souffle’ in last weekend’s papers I kind of sat up.

Think I have some somewhere.

Do I have enough?

There’s only three problems:

1. I used to be Head Gardener of a Botanic Garden. I never advised anyone to eat wild plants. You never know what their reaction will be.

2. I am such an old fashioned ex gardener that I like my food to come out of the supermarket, washed and ready to cook.

3. Souffles are tricky things!
